The recent floods that swept across Texas have left a deep mark on our hearts. As a locally owned business rooted in the Hill Country, we feel the heartbreak alongside our neighbors, guests, and fellow Texans. These rivers, hills, and backroads are not just scenic—they're home.
From families who have lost loved ones, to first responders working around the clock, to entire communities facing the long road of rebuilding—please know we see you, we stand with you, and we are praying for you.

At iTrip San Antonio, we manage homes along the Guadalupe River and throughout the Texas Hill Country. While we are thankful that our properties are located downstream of Canyon Lake and were not directly impacted by the recent flooding, we do not take that protection for granted.
This tragic event has prompted us to take a hard look at our emergency preparedness and guest communication plans. We’ve reviewed and strengthened our procedures to ensure our guests, homeowners, and local teams are informed, safe, and supported during any future severe weather events. As property managers, our commitment goes beyond hospitality—it includes the safety and well-being of everyone who places their trust in us.
IIn true Texas spirit, communities across the state are coming together to support those impacted by the recent floods. If you’re looking for meaningful ways to make a difference, here are a few trusted options:
🧡 Donate to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund
Make a secure online donation through the Community Foundation’s portal or mail a check directly to the fund.
📦 Drop Off Supplies
Check with local collection sites such as schools, churches, civic organizations, or participating grocery stores organizing relief drives.
💳 Chime in at Checkout
Many Texas-based businesses are offering round-up or donation options at checkout (look for signs at places like H-E-B, United Family, and local hardware stores).
🐾 Support Animal Relief
Help displaced pets by donating to SAPA! (San Antonio Pets Alive), who is working with Kerrville Pets Alive to deliver supplies and aid.
🔎 Be Cautious When Giving Online
Stick with well-established nonprofits and verified fundraisers. Avoid unofficial or duplicate GoFundMe campaigns unless they’ve been confirmed as legitimate.
Your generosity, in any form, brings comfort and tangible help to those who need it most. Thank you for showing the world what Texans are made of.
Dear Lord,
In the aftermath of these devastating floods, our hearts are heavy with sorrow and questions. We don’t always understand why tragedy strikes, but we know that in our grief, You are near. We bring to You the families who have lost loved ones, homes, and a sense of safety. We ask You to wrap them in Your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Help us to pause and feel the weight of this moment—not to rush past the pain, but to sit with it, to honor it, and to lift it up to You. Be especially close to those whose lives will never be the same. Remind them, even in the darkest nights, that they are not forgotten and they are not alone.
We pray for strength and protection over every first responder, volunteer, and neighbor lending a hand. Guard their hearts as they face the difficult work of recovery. Sustain them with courage and compassion.
And for all of us, Lord, stir in our hearts a spirit of generosity. Help us to give freely, to serve humbly, and to show kindness wherever we can. In this season of loss, let our love for one another grow stronger, and let our communities draw closer.
Thank You for being our refuge and our rock. Thank You for the resilience of our people. And thank You that even in sorrow, Your presence brings light.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
Psalm 34:18
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
